A visual story is rarely told simply with beautiful images. Stories must connect with people and depict the human experience in a way that conveys emotion and tone. It’s the cinematographer’s job to understand the tone and emotion of the story the director is trying to tell. Then, almost magically, they must light and capture that moment, for all posterity. With years of cinematography and photography experience behind me, I’ve got what it takes to make your story and vision a reality.

Born in Culver City, Ca. in the Heart of Screenland, I grew up looking for blank tapes to record onto using my dad’s VHS camera and loved telling stories at camp and reciting poems that brought people together and provided a shared sense of levity and joy. When I got my degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2011 from Cal State Northridge, I quickly knew I was never going to work at a news station. The last 12 years have been spent mastering cinematic story telling, working on projects with budgets both large and small to help bring creativity and imagination to life.
